  5.     cmapdoctor and cmapview are both utility programs used for
  6.         scanning/viewing of X colormaps and visuals including overlays,
  7.         underlays, and popups.  You can use these utilities to diagnose/
  8.     debug/verify colormaps and their contents in applications that use
  9.         multiple colormaps and visuals.

  11.     cmapview:   early version of the utility done in pure X11

  13.     cmapdoctor: is the fancier version of the utility with a 
  14.             much more useful user interface.
  15.             This snazzoriffic GUI was built using Viewkit UI
  16.             component library and the Builder Xcessrory ViewKit
  17.              UI builder.
